ABOUT ERIO POWER EXPLOSION

In a town called Erio, which nestled in the hills of the western region of Nigeria where a whisper of death hung heavy in the air, Apostle Ayo Babalola was prompted to pray on a mountain in Efon Alaaye when he was given a vision from God that Erio was being attacked by a terrifying illness and he needed to locate the town and look for the mountain God would use as the Balm of Gilead.

As soon as Apostle Ayo Babalola saw this vision, he immediately made preparations for the mission and was guided by the voice of a voice only he could hear to locate the town in question.

When he got to Erio town, he set out on a quest, not for riches or treasure but to find a holy mountain that God had selected. The trek was not easy; doubt gnawed at him as God didn't approve of the other mountains he had earlier approached. Amidst all of this, an elderly man by the name of Pa Simon showed up. His eyes possess the knowledge of centuries. Pa Simon mentioned a mountain that is hidden and emanates peace and angelic visitation; it's the same mountain that Babalola saw in his vision!

Apostle Ayo Babalola quickly went with Pa Simon to the mountain, consecrated it for the sole use of Jehovah, and prayed to God from the bottom of his heart. But then something terrible happened. The sickness still came in like bandits and ravaged the town, killing so many people. Panic swept through the town. In a desperate attempt to find solutions in the idols they had revered for generations, people fled to their shrines. There were cries and rituals performed, yet the idols said nothing.

Apostle Ayo Babalola maintained his faith despite the storm. In the incurring darkness, he persisted on the Mountain of Mercy like a true lightbearer. Then a miracle occurred in 1930. God said it was time for a power shift in Erio, and the sickness vanished as quickly as it had appeared. Erio was met with an overwhelming feeling of relief. After seeing the futility of their deities, the people of Erio turned to the God of Babalola.

As a result, the Mountain of Mercy, once a lonely spot where Apostle Ayo Babalola prayed, became a hive of constant prayer and prompt responses.

The Mountain of Mercy emerged as the final barrier against illness, sickness, misfortunes, spiritual issues, and problems.

After 29 years, Apostle Ayo Babalola passed away. Though the nation was shaken by his demise, prayers and instant answers didn’t stop at the Mountain of Mercy.

However, over time, individuals started misusing the prayer mountain and neglected to maintain it, which led to weeds growing into shrubs and eventually a forest. In no time at all, the number of visitors to the mountain dropped hurriedly.

The Convener

Hezekiah Oluboye Oladeji was born in Oloba Compound, Edun Abon, Osun State on 13 February 1967 to Pa David Oladeji, who is a Christian of the Baptist extraction, and Madam Elizabeth Oyeronke Oladeji. He attended Baptist Primary school, Edun-Abon. He was a brilliant pupil but sickness, which often assailed him and which eventually affected his legs, dulled his chances to read to a level he personally could have desired. As the sickness which almost crippled him continued to assail the young Hezekiah unabated, he lost his mother in 1982, in the quest to get a cure, and since the sickness did not allow him to complete his secondary education, his father had to hand him over to Abela Oye, an auto mechanic in Osogbo, as an apprentice for a four-year training, but he eventually spent six years.
